Our W01 collarless jacket in a smooth black brushed cotton, fully fastens for a neat symmetrical finish. It looks equally good worn casually open, as demonstrated perfectly here by Francesca.

Humbled to be amongst such great company.
As a tiny team of two, we try our hand at all aspects of running a small business - this even stretches to modelling(!)
Nigel late one evening in our M04 trouser, Ruth on the press push.
The super sartorially switched on duo Iris & Daniel of wehavenostyle kindly made a collage of our collection and design journey.
A while back they got creative with some select pieces from our vintage archive. We could think of no better display of our intricate pleat and mandarin collared shirts.
Finally, the wehavenostyle tumblr is worth a visit, it's a bit like our teenage minds. Nostalgia!

We first came across the brilliant work of Tom Forde via this beautiful documentary he made of friends and designers Agi & Sam.
His honest portrayal of their journey, insecurities and triumph really struck a chord with us.
It turns out he's also a pretty talented photographer too. Enjoy his work here.

We're extremely lucky to work in a pretty awe inspiring building.
Here Robert Stephenson built the 'Locomotion No.1' and 'Rocket' steam locomotives, in 1825 and 1829 respectively.

Introducing friend and menswear model, Andrew.
After modelling for brands including Saint Laurent and Uniqlo, it was only natural that Andrew would want to come model for Cotton Love.
We asked him to do us a mix tape and this is how he described it..
"I've attempted to create a laid back and painfully optimistic vibe. Imagine the kind of feeling you get when you've just suffered a great tragedy, it's raining outside and it's cold but for some reason you know it will be ok and you feel positive about the future. It features electronica, dance, doo wop, Alt-Rock, Psychedellica, Shoegaze and Patti Smith.

The incredible Vanessa Upson of VIOLETNESS has been kind enough to donate her track 'The Coal' for us to use on our upcoming launch video.
For now, watch her latest video for 'The Mighty Moss' directed by Rodrigo Melendez, cinematography by Federico Caruso and Gonzalo Moiguer and danced by the beautiful Silvia Kaehler. It's dreamy.
Her debut EP « Last Night In My Dreams, I Was Talking To You » is out on LebensStrasse Records. Download it here.

We've been really busy recently, working on developing our own introductory line of clothing.
A consequence of our exploration and collection of vintage clothing and perpetual need for simplicity. The objective of the project is to offer a small introduction of individual pieces, in which embody the Cotton Love 'look'. By re-routing the old and new seamlessly we hope to develop a functional uniform fit for modern tastes.
We're planning a relatively unconventional launch. Catch up here to see our progress so far and follow us as we work towards it.
